New Initiatives In The Process

  • TISS (Tata Institute of Social Sciences)
    Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS) Mumbai, established in 1936, is a deemed-to-be university offering various PG, doctoral, integrated, certificate, and online in Social Work, Rural Development and other similar fields. Montfort Academy has taken initiative to start B.Voc in Automobile in collaboration with TISS   (Tata Institute of Social Sciences), a deemed university at Mumbai.
     

  • TATA Strive
    Tata Strive is reputed for its contributions in providing best curriculum for different disciplines in the hospitality sector. We are proud to be working in partnership with Tata Strive.
     

  • ICAR – CCARI GOA
    Montfort Academy had initiated for an MoU with ICAR , Old Goa .An official meeting was held by Bro.Prem , the Director of Montfort Academy with Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute) Goa . This is to initiate the new collaboration between Montfort Academy and ICAR Goa to impart the agro skills and training to the students and the youth.
     

  • HOME NURSING COURSE UNDER HRDF
    Montfort Academy is intending to start a new programme in Home Nursing certified by HRDF for the coming academic year. Home nursing is specially designed to provide all possible health care to the old and sick in their own homely environment. It is concerned with the restoration and promotion of health, prevention of illness and in reducing suffering as much as possible. Home nursing is based on value of caring , it necessitates development of compassion and understanding of human behaviour, thereby being able to provide care with respect and dignity so as to make the sick and specially old feel loved and wanted.

    Aims & Objectives:

    1. Provide holistic care to those alone and in need in their own homes.

    2. Special approach to Geriatric diseases.

    3. Provide a stepping stone towards a brighter future.

    4. This course aims to address the growing needs of the family and community in caring for the sick and aged in the home, within the family and community resources.
