Unlike previous years, This year is being very unique for Montfort Academy unlike previous years.The Christmas was celebrated with the inmates of St.John of God Old Age Home , Old Goa .The team including the staff and students with the Director and Principal Bro.Prem Sg visited the Old age Home on 23rd December 2022 to make the inmates of the home feel loved and cared. They carried gifts for the inmates since Christmas is the season of sharing and caring.
The team received a warm welcome from the home and the inmates were ready to join with the team in the celebrations.
The students and staff greeted the senior citizens individually with respect and affection. The students presented a skit before the inmates. They entertained them with carols, skit and games. They distributed cakes and sweets to the inmates of the home. It was a memorable day for the staff and students of Montfort Academy.
This celebration with the inmates is aimed to inspire and motivate children to make them connected with the roots of the family values and culture ethos where taking care of the elderly is the responsibility of the youth.
