INAUGURATION OF THE 29th TRAINING EXCELLENCE CENTRE INITATED BY GODREJ DISHA AT MONTFORT ACADEMY

In its endeavor to inculcate high quality skill training in the youth of Goa, Godrej Appliances, India’s leading home appliance manufacturer, opens its 29th Training Excellence Centre in Goa in association with Montfort Academy. Montfort Academy, a premier technical institute with 22 years of excellence has been working relentlessly towards its commitment to empowering rural youth by training them with job oriented programmes. Through Godrej Disha, Godrej is trying to provide high quality training in collaboration with renowned training institutes in line with the Government’s National Skill Development Mission.

The Training Excellence Centre was inaugurated by the Honorable Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant by cutting the ribbon and congratulated Godrej and Montfort Academy for the noble initiative which promotes sustainable employment for the youth. It was indeed a proud moment for Montfort Academy staff and students to witness the auspicious occasion. The centre was blessed by Rev.Fr.Roland Coelho, Provincial Superior, Goa Jesuits. Other dignitaries present for the function were Mr. Gregory K Paulose, Regional Service Manager, Karnataka, Kerala & Goa, Mr. Stanley Joseph, General Secretary SKIP India, Mr. Manu Sharma, Service Manager, Karnataka & Goa, Bro. Prem sg, the Director & Principal of Montfort Academy.

The formal function commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Mr. Gregory K Paulose, Regional Service Manager, Karnataka, Kerala & Goa escorted by other dignitaries and the Director of Montfort Academy. This entailed the invocation programme and honouring of the dignitaries on the dais. Bro. Prem sg, the Director & Principal of the Academy welcomed the Chief guest and other dignitaries. The MoU and the certificate were handed over by the Godrej team to Bro.Prem, the Director of Montfort Academy. In the inspiring message given by the dignitaries, they requested the youth to make use of the opportunity of the excellence centre at Montfort Academy to enhance their technical skills.
